What are sea & ocean patterns for?

A seamless pattern, composed to your taste

azokroma Patterns generates repeating patterns: a single tile, to be placed side by side to infinity, with no line or visible join on the right, left, top or bottom. You compose the pattern yourself: which elements, how many of each, how they are placed and in which colours. Each composition is sold only once.

How to create your pattern

  1. Choose the motifs. Fruit, flowers, animals, dots, Christmas, geometric shapes or professional motifs, and mix the families.
  2. Set the layout. Brick, grid, diagonal, waves or random placement, with the spacing, size and rotation of the motifs.
  3. Choose the colours. Site palettes or your own colours, from 1 to 4 colours, plain or gradient background.
  4. Receive your files. After payment, download the pattern as SVG, PNG or JPG, from 1024 to 4096 pixels.

A whole matching range: wallpaper, a cushion and a curtain, packaging with a main pattern and secondary patterns, or a complete theme for a wedding, a birth or an online shop.

Exclusive assignment, from $65 excl. VAT

A visual that belongs to you alone: a brand’s packaging, a textile collection or a product line, with an assignment of rights and a certificate to secure your use of it.

The price follows the number of motifs in the tile: 4 motifs are included, then each extra motif adds $1 excl. VAT for the Pattern offer, $1 for Pattern + colourways, $1 for the Collection and $1 for the Exclusive assignment (up to 16 counted motifs). The exact price is shown before payment.

What are these patterns for?

Delivery formats

SVG is vector: it scales up without loss and can be edited in drawing software. PNG keeps perfect edges up to 4096 pixels. JPG is lighter but slightly damages the edges of the tile.

Frequently asked questions

What is a seamless pattern?

It is a pattern whose left and right edges, and top and bottom edges, continue into each other: place several copies of the tile side by side and no join shows. The file you receive is a single tile to repeat.

How much does a pattern cost?

From $3 excl. VAT ($3.60 incl. VAT) for a pattern in the chosen colours. The pattern with free colours costs $8 excl. VAT, the collection of three matching patterns $17 excl. VAT, and the exclusive assignment $65 excl. VAT. You pay online by card.

Is my pattern really unique?

Yes: each composition (chosen motifs, number, layout, spacing, size and number) is sold only once, whatever the colours. The drawings themselves (the strawberry, the fox…) stay with azokroma and may appear in other compositions.

Which offer should I choose for my use?

Pattern: greeting card, label, wallpaper; Pattern + colourways: the same product in several colourways; Collection: a coherent product range; Exclusive assignment: a visual that is yours alone for your brand.

Can I change the colours after buying?

With the Pattern offer, the colours are the ones on screen when you pay. With Pattern + colourways, Collection and Exclusive assignment, you can recolour your pattern as often as you like on your order page, choosing among over 50 of the site’s palettes, then download it again.

How are the 3 tiles of the Collection chosen?

You compose the first tile with the settings on the page. The other two are created automatically from the same motifs: a tighter variant with smaller motifs, and a randomly placed variant with small accents. You see them before paying, under the offers.

Can I choose my own colours?

Yes. You can start from the azokroma palettes (pastel, vivid, nature, dark, prestige, mono), change each colour, choose from 1 to 4 colours and a plain or gradient background. The gradient repeats seamlessly too.

How many motifs can I place in a tile?

Up to 24, with the number of each motif up to you: for example 2 strawberries and 1 banana, or an animal with a geometric shape. The more motifs or spacing, the larger the tile.

Which files do I receive after buying?

A personal download page, whose link is also in the receipt sent by e-mail. There you download the pattern as SVG (vector), PNG or JPG, from 1024 to 4096 pixels. With the free-colour offers, you can recolour it at will.

Can I mix several families of motifs?

Yes. The families are just for browsing the catalogue: your selection is kept when you switch tabs. A fox with triangles, tulips with dots, anything goes.
